Screen Calls

Call Screening options are set by individual extension users in PBX plans or by the Administrator of Follow-Me plans and can be changed at any time.
Call Screening Options include:

  • Screen for Name -- Callers are asked to record their name prior to connecting
  • Screen by Call-ID -- Caller-ID is whispered to you prior to connecting.
  • No Screening -- Screening feature is turned off.


  • If you have enabled call screening, when a call forwards to your phone, you'll hear the caller's name or Caller-ID before being asked to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the call. In any case, if you 'accept', you'll instantly connect; if you 'reject' the call, we'll tell your caller that you are not available and send them to your voice mailbox.
